    Landlord's Self-Help Centre is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Board of Directors. 

Landlord's Self-Help Centre is a community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario to  assist small-scale landlords.  The organization is unique both in terms of its clientele and the services it provides.   The Centre's mandate is to provide information and support services for landlords and homeowners on a non-profit basis, to educate members of the community in landlord and tenant relations, and to assist its clients with procedural matters.  The Centre also involves itself in law reform activities, which are aimed at improving the regulatory environment for our client constituency, and community development partnerships.  The Centre is the only community legal clinic in Ontario that provides services related to residential tenancies legislation and regulations exclusively to small-scale landlords. 

LSHC invites applications from individuals who possess skills and/or expertise in the areas of information technology, please review profile for details.   Ideally, candidates will have a stake or interest in the business of renting in Ontario and be familiar with the services provided by Landlord's Self-Help Centre. 

Members of the Board of Directors serve a two year term; are expected to attend and participate fully in monthly meetings; and serve on at least one committee.  Directors contribute approximately five hours per month.
